Who we are

More than 50,000 of us live in the Bay Area — all of us beneficiaries of the JCF. On our way here, we were assisted by HIAS, “the Joint,” and Jewish Family and Children’s Services — all JCF agencies. Many of us found jobs through Jewish Vocational Service, joined Jewish community centers, got loans at Hebrew Free Loan or found help for our parents at the Jewish Home for the Aged. All under the JCF umbrella.

Today, the JCF continues to serve as the focal point for our entire Jewish community.

It’s our turn to be a part of the Jewish community

The JCF’s Russian Division:

• Organizes cultural and educational programs with Jewish content
• Develops community leadership
• Participates in the annual fundraising campaign to support the entire Jewish community
