The first of its kind in the United States, JCFI is an intensive, action-oriented two-year program for exceptional Russian-Jewish leaders. Led by top-notch Jewish scholars and activists, JCFI offers 25 Bay Area Russian Jews a comprehensive overview of Judaism, history and community. Combining learning with doing, JCFI requires each participant to do a major community project. Monthly lectures will cover Jewish history, holidays, major concepts in Judaism and community leadership.
