Lion of Judah [$5,000]
Lions of Judah are women who embody the spirit of tzedakah. The
Lion of Judah Endowment (LOJE) is the endowment component of the
Lion of Judah Major Gifts Program. The LOJE is created by establishing
a fund with the Jewish Community Endowment of $100,000 or more in
the donor’s name. Every woman who contributes $5,000 or more
to her community’s Annual Campaign can establish a LOJE, and
add the prestigious Or L’Atid flame to her Lion of Judah pin—an
internationally recognized symbol of dedication to the Jewish people.
There are special programs for Lions including a bi-annual International
Lion of Judah Conference in Washington, DC, and local events featuring
history, politics, the arts, or health, tailor-made to suit the
interests of these women. Over 14,000 women throughout North America
and Israel contribute at this extraordinary level. In our own JCF,
there are over 250 women who are Lion of Judah donors.
To learn how to establish your LOJE, please contact Judy Bloom,

Pomegranate Society [$1,800]
The pomegranate is said to contain 613 seeds, each representing
one of the mitzvot, or commandments, enumerated in the Torah. A
woman’s gift of at least $1,800 sustains the Jewish people
by helping to fulfill the mitzvah of tikun olam, repairing the world.
Women at the Pomegranate level join together throughout the year
and enjoy many special events, including an annual celebration.
A Dollar a Day [$365]
Support the Jewish community with a commitment of at least one
dollar a day, and join 1,200 women of all ages at the Power of One,
the annual Women’s Alliance gathering of Jewish women to celebrate
and inspire the power of each and every one of us to make a difference
in this world.
