Welcome to Marin!

Marin has one of the Federation’s most enduring and stable populations. Many of our members have been here for generations and most live and work within the county. Through our Jewish community study, we project that the high number of senior citizens living in Marin is expected to double in the next two decades! Marin and Sonoma both have the largest number of interfaith marriages and 97% of children ages 5 and younger live with interfaith parents. We welcome and connect all of our Jewish families through informal connections, synagogue life, Parenting Matters discussion groups and through special outreach programs for interfaith families.

Our office is your local gateway into our established Jewish community. With your help, we address the specific needs of our Marin family as well as those of Jews around the world. We work with a number of organizations locally and globally to help sustain Jewish values and vitality through an extensive network of local programs and worldwide partners.

There are many ways you can make an impact: volunteering, pursuing leadership opportunities, fundraising, and strengthening your ties with Israel through travel. Our connection is strong, and through thoughtful solutions we are finding ways to deepen the bond.
